Earth Hour 2012 – 31st March
At 8.30pm on Saturday 31st March 2012, hundreds of millions of people across the globe will switch off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour, the world’s largest public environmental action that will go towards benefitting the planet in the year ahead. You can make a great contribution to this global pursuit of ongoing environmental change.
Switching off non-essential lights at 8:30pm on Saturday is just the start. Earth Hour is not just for one hour. It’s about making a commitment to ongoing change that reduces your impact on your environment and the planet – cutting down on wasteful electricity usage and reducing the light pollution impacting your area.
