  • October 17th – Jerry Workman – The Apollo Missions
  • November 10th – STARFEST II (to be held at the Alec Hunter Humanities College, Braintree)
  • December - Quiz Night

Public meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month (except for August & December), are open to all members of the public and are held at:

The meetings start at 7:30pm, with the talk usually starting at 8pm. We charge a small amount (£3 for members, £4 for non-members, depending on the speaker) and this is to cover the costs of hall hire and speaker. Tea/coffee refreshments are available and a raffle (with a range of prizes) takes place at every meeting.

It stands on a large hillside and would be perfect for astronomical viewing,, no light-polution and very quiet.
