International Sidewalk Astronomy Night 2008

This Saturday, 12th April, some members of the Society will be taking part in International Sidewalk Astronomy Night. ISAN is a worldwide event where astronomers take their telescopes out to the streets and allow the general public to see the night sky – and thus hopefully promoting interest in astronomy (and the Society).

We have been given to permission to use the site of Sainsbury’s supermarket in Braintree, and we’ll should be there from the late evening onwards.

In you’re are interested in getting involved, please in contact.
