September Public Meeting – 15th September – Dr Stuart Clark

We welcome back our Vice-President Dr Stuart Clark as a our guest speaker this month to talk about “The Big Questions in the Universe”

Author, astronomer and science journalist Stuart Clark will confront the fundamental problems of science and philosophy that have perplexed enquiring minds throughout history, explaining the answers presented by some of science’s greatest thinkers.

In this talk he will tackles the key questions of astronomy, cosmology and existence itself. What is the Universe? Where did life come from? Can we travel through time? Was Einstein right? Why is 75% of the Universe a mystery? Can the laws of physics change? What  will be the fate of the universe?

The public meeting takes place at the Henry Dixon Hall, Rivenhall End on Wednesday 15th September at 7:30pm. For further information, please our Events page.
