Notley Stargazing – 12th March 2011

UPDATE – 12/03/11, 19:15 – We’ve unfortunately had to call off the event, due to the cloudy weather.

The first of our new programme of stargazing events will be held on Saturday 12th March at the Great Notley Discovery Centre and Country Park.

From 6pm onwards, we’ll have a range of telescopes available for anyone to come along and look through. Look at the night sky through a telescope – Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon are all on view, along with the distant Orion Nebula. Even try taking your very own astro-image through a telescope with your camera.

So wrap up warm, come along to Great Notley Discovery Centre and see the universe!

Please note that these events are strictly about observing the sky – in the event that the weather is too cloudy and we cannot see the stars on a particular night, please be aware that the session will be called off.

For more information about our stargazing events in 2011 and how to get to Great Notley Discovery Centre,  see the Notley Stargazing page.
