Notley Stargazing – 9th April 2011

Join us on Saturday 9th April at the Great Notley Discovery Centre and Country Park for Stargazing.

From 7pm onwards, we’ll have a range of telescopes available for anyone to come along and look through. Look at the night sky through a telescope – Saturn and the Moon are all on view, along with the distant Orion Nebula. Even try taking your very own astro-image through a telescope with your camera.

Wrap up warm, come along to the Discovery Centre and see the universe!

Please note that these events are strictly about observing the night sky – in the event that the weather is cloudy and we cannot see the stars on a particular night, please be aware that the session will be called off. We will try to update this page if that happens.

For more information about our stargazing events in 2011 and how to get to Great Notley Discovery Centre,  see the Notley Stargazing page.

Is this event for members only? Is there a fee for non members? Can people bring their own scopes?

    sorry for all the questions.

  2. Justin,

Anyone can come along – open to the general public. There is no charge (although the Society does have a donation bucket).

And you’re more than welcome to bring your own scope.
