Notley Stargazing – 7th May 2011

UPDATE 07/05/11 at 17:15 – At present the weather is not looking good, and the forecast is even worse, so we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s stargazing.

Join us on Saturday 7th May at the Great Notley Discovery Centre and Country Park for Stargazing.

From 7pm onwards, we’ll have a range of telescopes available for everyone to come along and look through. Look at the night sky through a telescope – Saturn and the Moon are all on view, along with the distant stars. You can even try taking your very own astro-image through a telescope with your camera or mobile phone.

Wrap up warm, come along to the Discovery Centre and see the universe!

Please note that these events are strictly about observing the night sky – in the event that the weather is cloudy and we cannot see the stars on a particular night, please be aware that the session will be called off. We will try to update this page if that happens.

For more information about our stargazing events in 2011 and how to get to Great Notley Discovery Centre, see the Notley Stargazing page.
