NEAS in August

While the Society has a break in our public meeting schedule in August, we are still very active over the summer holiday.

On Saturday 13th August, Society members will have a stand at Thorrington Village Day (from 1pm to 4pm) with telescopes set up for looking at the sun.

Then on Monday 29th August, we’ll be holding another Stargazing event – starting at midday, we’ll be solar observing at Great Notley Discovery Centre and Country Park.

Our next public meeting is then on Wednesday 21st September, with Society President Dr Stuart Clark as the guest speaker.

You will also soon be able to purchase tickets for our big STARFEST event in November.

Have a great summer. Clear skies.
